Background inspiration

Many thanks to Flick who gave me this desktop tag.

This is my actual desktop, posted with considerable (puny) technical effort from yours truly, involving a lot of face-pulling... click....and umming and erring...click

It suggests I'm concentrating on the bigger picture maybe, which is true, well at least it is this week! When I change the image next week, it'll be for this little treasure:

(...Merry dashes off to the corner shop to buy a creme egg, quite forgetting the clouds, the horizon and the internet beyond...) Yum!! -

A little later - munch, munch - and I'm passing the tag on:

Aims
I Beatrice
Crystal Jigsaw
Lady Thinker
Laurie

Over to you ladies!

Oh dear! I guess I'm just going to have to start another blog where I can do tags and meme's and 6 sentences....I wonder what I would call it?

Careful with those creme eggs Merry - I hear they stick to the hips...nasty.

i'm not entirely sure i know how to copy my desktop!

but i can certainly post the picture -- it's of doug walking down the street in galway with a dog that looks a lot like boscoe (but isn't).

if i do these meme, will you send me a cadbury egg???

Thank you so much for thinking of me in my absence Merry, and I don't so much raise my eyebrows and gracefully decline (as you put it yourself).. as explain (rather sheepishly) that I haven't the least idea of how to attach it to my blog!

Had I known how to do that sort of thing I'd have been posting pictures all over the place, and would certainly have had a picture of the house illustrating "I Beatrice"... But as it is, well, perhaps you'll show me how to do it when you visit here?

Lovely to see you here again yourself though.

Uploading pictures is easy Ms B. Do you really not know?

No Mutley, I really don't! Words are my thing I guess, and I never did bother too much about mastering any of the other purely technical stuff.

I'm thinking of starting another little story though - and would probably do well to illustrate it with a picture of some kind. Perhaps I ought to take a course in the mechanics of posting images as well as words...?

(Sorry to have appropriated your page for my own purposes like this, Merry! I so seldom run into Mutley these days that it was too good an opportunity to pass up. But it will never happen again, I promise you that!)

Hello Aims - hmm, indeed, Aims Games perhaps?! Well, it's just a bit of fun.

Through the lips on the hips they say don't they - I don't worry too much, I keep them moving you know, what with gardening jobs, swimming and so on..

Hi Laurie, I'll be over to look. Yes, of course, mail me, I'll send you a dozen (they come in egg boxes) - one word: irresistible...

Hello Bea, you're very sweet, I'm really looking forward to visiting again and to reading you once more. I'm not very good at pictures either, but I'll show you how I do it on here, with pleasure.

And I like you chatting away - feel free, anytime -

I've read your new posts Mr M - good to see you back on top form!

That's a lovely desk top pic! I change my picture quite often too. A creme egg would be too tempting for me though, I'd have to dash out and buy one every time I switched on!! Flick xx

Thanks, Merry! I'll change my picture on my desktop temporarily for this tag as I currently have Amy on there and as gorgeous as she is I don't want her face posted over the www!!!

Take care, CJ xx

Hi Flick - It's nice to be daft isn't it, thanks for the suggestion :)

Yes Maggie, Macs are great aren't they, this one keeps on going (touch wood) without any trouble and it's so easy to use.

Hi Crystal - you're going to do it? Cool! Yes, I understand about Amy - I have a lovely one of my littlest with chocolate smeared all over his face and a fantastic smile but hey, it's the internet! Will come and see soon...

And Mr Pineapples - Certainly !?! Very nice to meet you too :)

Why don't you have that lovely 'Three Inches of Snow' picture as your desktop? It's beautiful, and will remind you of the coolness of winter when (when... when... if...) you are sweltering in the heat of the summer.

Thank you kindly for the tag - as you say I had already done a double desktop tag ...

I'm pleased to have seen what a mac desktop looks like - my education has been raised now to a higher plane...

Fabulous pic of the sunset...

Thanks Iota, it was a heavy fall. Bet you don't miss UK weather - it's pouring with rain again right now!

Hello LT! I've done the double bit now - next to the computer you might be able to see my handy Idiot's guide to Mac... I thought you'd like that touch :)

That's a gorgeous picture. The cadbury's egg just makes me think about the dentist, these days, I'm afraid. They are delicious, though. Maybe just one wouldn't hurt?

Hey you're doing well for a non-blogger! I like your varied postings and hope things are ok.

Hi David, and why not :)

You're so right Mean Mom, ho hum, still, they're very small, after all...

Nice to see you Stay at home Dad, things are fine thanks, awaiting country tales now from your page, perhaps?

You didn't unsubscribe then did you Mr Pineapples?...

What exactly do you want from me? Not enough laughs for you down in Wilts or Somerset then? Get a good kicking last night did you? Fancy knocking about here and having a go instead? Easy isn't it - Not.

Get a life. Go and play with yourself somewhere else, little man.

Just for you Lady T x

Wilts and Somerset? P is not from "Wilts and Somerset"...how bizzare.

Dont get so offended. Your nasty and ugly side is begining to show.

P has unsubscribed but the mundane krap is STILL coming through.

P prefers your nasty side - much better than your dull side, which is more evil...much more.

Mr Pineapples said...

Hey - P managed to unsubscribe.....no more pithy KRAP....hoorah

Above explains why I put moderation on, another one of his pearls is already deleted... it's strange to think he's for real. Sad in fact.
